What's Your Question?

How to Price Your Home
When you’re putting your home on the market, pricing it right is important to make sure you don’t miss out on any profit you could make. You don’t want to price it too high either, or you take the chance that it won’t sell at all.
Avoid Sticker Shock
Obviously, most people want to get the highest price possible for the sale of their home. But it’s important to come up with a realistic price too or chances are it won’t sell at all. For this reason, you can’t just pick an asking price that you’d like. There are a lot of factors that will make up the price that you ask for your home.
The Importance of Your Realtor
Talk to a handful of real estate agents before you choose one that will handle the sale of your home. Each realtor will have their own idea, based on the same information, of what you might be able to get for your home. And each will have their own method for making that happen. For example, some realtors favor the idea of hosting an open house and letting interested parties come through to get a look at the inside without setting up an official showing. Some real estate agents avoid hosting those, feeling it isn’t the best way to make a sale. You want a realtor who will listen to what you hope to make from the sale of your home but then honestly suggests a realistic price. Hopefully the two numbers aren’t very far apart.
Factors that Determine the Price
A lot of factors will determine the price you get for your house. Your real estate agent will be able to show you a list of some comparable homes and the average prices. That list will give you a good idea of what houses similar to yours are selling for. You can use the list as a helpful guideline. Your realtor can also look up past house prices sold and see what those homeowners were able to get.
When you sign a contract with a realtor you will agree on a set time that they have to sell your home. If you haven’t had an offer after a few weeks the realtor may suggest lowering your asking price. After each showing, you should ask for feedback so you know what families like and don’t like about your home. This will give you an opportunity to change any minor things that might help lock in a sale next time.
Market Trends
The real estate market is ever changing. Sometime the seller controls all of the details, but sometimes the buyers hold the power. Depending what your situation is, you may be more willing to accept a lower offer. For example, if you’ve already found something that you want to purchase, or you have already relocated for a new job, you will probably consider a lower offer just to speed things along..

Working well in 3 minutes of setup
Posted by Ryan on Jun 8th 2021
It took me an hour of research to figure out that my 2008 Toyota Sienna built-in garage opener buttons were not compatible with our new garage door motor. I found this and hoped it would work. Received it quickly and the setup took 3 minutes. Works just the way it should now!

Had to have Homelink support walk me through the steps but once they did it was working magically.

I have a old cheap gentex homelink mirror from eBay and a new liftmaster MYQ , this repeater resolved my problem. From the page fast shipping great package easy instructions and support, they have greats videos and literature.
Easy install

My 2008 Lexus RX has gone link but it was on the cusp of the 2.0 security I guess because it would not connect to my new door opener. The remote that come with this kit connected immediately to the homelink in the car. Directions included were easy to follow and the entire process took 2 minutes. The home link in the car requires a little longer hold on the button to get it to open the door but I’m talking 2 seconds vs a quick button push. Well worth the $22 and free shipping.

Works exactly as intended

Purchased to have my cars ('06 & '08) talk to my 2019 garage door opener. Works great. I do have to hold the button on the car for 3-4 seconds before door begins to open, it's not just push and open. This website was the best price I found anywhere, shipping was free and quick. 100% satisfied.
As advertised

Prompt shipping, reasonably priced. After studying instructions, successfully programmed two different vehicles (2003 and 2009) without difficulty.
Worked as advertised

This worked just as advertised and it was easy setup. I would definitely recommend.
Exactly As Advertised

I'm using 1 Repeater to operate 2 garage door openers from 3 older (2005-2010) cars. The remote signal will activate an opener from at least 110 feet away. I got fast order processing and fast free shipping. I also saved 55% over other web sites and the local LiftMaster dealer. Note that the signal seems to take 1-2 seconds longer to activate a door opener than the original remote signal.

Recently installed new Liftmaster garage door openers with the latest security (Security+ 2.0). They work great with the HomeLink system in my newest car (2015) but not with those in my older cars (early 2000s). I could have just used the supplied remotes, but I hate having those things clipped to my visor, so I sprung for the fix. These repeater devices receive the encoded signal from the HomeLink system in the older cars and retransmit it using the new protocol. Note, each repeater is coded to a single door opener so you'll need one for each door opener you plan to operate from the older HomeLink systems. Setup according to the supplied instructions was pretty straightforward. There was one point of confusion as the instructions didn't address programming with door openers having the MyQ feature. MyQ is great because it enables programming functions from the control panel, thus avoiding use of the Learn button on the opener itself. See the door opener instructions for how to program from the control panel using its Learn button. Works great. I've noticed there's a little more delay from button push to door activation with the older HomeLink systems (i.e., through a repeater), but for my money that's a small price for visor clutter mitigation. Paid about $30 for each repeater, including shipping. Consider that money well spent. Read full review

A necessary evil for new garage door opener owners
I hesitantly recommend this product. If you have an older vehicle using Homelink, and buy a new garage door opener, you HAVE TO buy it if you still want to use Homelink. It is very easy to install, and quick to set up. I have the receiver unit installed on the ceiling adjacent to my opener, as the instructions recommended placing in close proximity. I am using this repeater on two vehicles (a Nissan and an Infiniti). Both vehicles have intermittent success in opening/closing the door using their built in Homelink feature. On the Nissan, if I continue to push the button, the door will usually move ... but not all the time. On the Infiniti, I had to reprogram after a few weeks, and the response is so-so. With that said, you have no other choice than to buy a new vehicle, or find an older g arage door opener. Whoever created the upgrade to "Homelink 2" should be summarily fired for not making the system backward compatible. Read full review
Simple to set up and also permitted our separate detached garage door to work as well as our attached garage door where it was set up. Our detached garage door opener is located about 50’ away from the attached garage door opener. The range from our vehicle is shorter than using the actual remote but this gave us back the convenience and permitted Us to set up the home link in both our Toyota Highlander and Audi vehicles. This was used for bridging our 2 new Chamberlain LED/MYQ Battery back up openers.

Allows you to keep using your not-the-latest Homelink with Security + 2
I recently had to replace my ~40 year old Genie and was disappointed to find that the Homelink in my '07 car would not operate my new Liftmaster. Not wanting to clip a remote to my sun visor I bought the repeater. Plug the repeater into the receptacle with the opener, train the Homelink button with the supplied remote, press the Learn button etc as usual. Anyone who uses a Homelink knows that it is slower than a typical remote. Add the repeater function of receiving a signal and re transmitting to the opener and it might appear that it is not working. Don't hold the button waiting for the door to move. Press for about a second and release. The door will start to move then. Works very reliably for me.
A Necessary Piece of Hardware - It Works Well
The repeater is necessitated by the existing HomeLink technology in our cars, versus the new assurelink standard that the garage door opener features. The instructions were easy to follow and the device was quickly implemented. The only two issues that I have noted (no fault of the hardware) were: * The sensitivity requires that the vehicle be closer to the garage door than using the receiver in the opener. Mounting the repeater closer to the overhead door location might improve this. * There is a slight latency between pushing the HomeLink button and the start of the movement of the door. I attribute this to the translation of the codes and change of RF channel. Despite the minor drawbacks, the use of this product is more convenient than using one of the supplied remotes and pinnin g it to the sun visor. Read full review
